Our client based in West London is recruiting for Call centre Project managers to manage a portfolio of customer contact projects managing other Project managers.The projects will be based around the customer retention areas of their business. The areas would include customer contact,new product releases, new tariffs, collections, billing ect.
Job purpose:
Ensure that the portfolio of approved projects within the allocated residential strategic theme are planned and aligned and are then delivered on time, to cost and quality targets. The job holder will be responsible for the direct management of projects and the management of a team of Project Managers to plan, co-ordinate, manage and deliver their project portfolio in accordance with scope, benefits, business requirements and functional specifications throughout the project lifecycle. They will also be responsible for engagement with senior business stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of those projects and the activities of the wider Change Team.

This role will impact across the Business Residential with the potential to impact in other areas of the the Group, where projects have delivery dependency or are making a business contribution.
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of their projects and the quality of those projects – hence they need to take ownership of ensuring that the project has the necessary checks in place to measure and accept the work being done by everyone involved in project delivery.
The Senior Project Manager will be required to take a leadership role in working with senior business stakeholders across the organisation to facilitate the delivery of the projects for which they are responsible.
Background
A minimum of five years experience in running commercial/business orientated projects.
Proven track record for delivering projects on time and to budget.
Able to manage multiple projects with conflicting business priorities.
Able to delegate important projects effectively, whilst providing the support required.
Experience of leading large, virtual teams to achieve an aligned goal/outcome.
Experience preparing business cases and preparation for financial approval.
Experience of applying project management methodologies in practical, business-oriented applications.
Experience in contract negotiation/tender evaluation with suppliers and customers.
Experience in the successful delivery of critical business projects.
Understanding the business implications of underlying project constraints and the ability to translate those constraints for senior business stakeholders.
Understanding of the wider business / commercial context of projects and its implications for the projects.
Experience in project management methodologies, such as Prince 2, and their use in practical applications.
Thorough understanding and experience of the project development lifecycle.
Telco background – Technical awareness of telecoms networks and technologies.
IS background - Technical awareness of IS hardware systems and networks.
Proven track record in successfully representing the project delivery function with senior managers and other senior project stakeholders.
Proven leadership skills. Proven and demonstrated skills in building strong team dynamics.
